A fan-made remake of the iconic 1994 dark fantasy FPS built in the spirit of the original.

Step back into the twisted world of Heretic, reimagined in the Unity's engine in a 3d world. This project brings Episode 1, Level 1 of the classic 1994 Doom-engine title back to life with enhanced visuals, recreated level geometry, updated mechanics, and immersive sound design.

This remake was developed as a tribute and learning project by a passionate team of developers, artists, and designers. We set out to recapture the feel of the original while modernizing the experience—bringing the grim magic and brutal combat of Heretic to a new generation (or back to the old one, with style).
